Founded in 2001, Alma Matters Ltd aimed to provide specialized services for the untapped Kazakhstan market. We assist a growing number of Kazakhstan clients dealing with the UK on both business and personal levels.
After working in the business travel sector in London for almost 9 years, with a half year stint in Hong Kong, the company founder Eric Amirbai Lang decided to focus mainly on working with the rapidly emerging country market and the country of his birth - Kazakhstan, a place that is still special for him and one that he knows and cares a lot about.
We developed excellent relations with the Kazakhstan Embassy in the UK, established good contacts with the British Consulate in Kazakhstan and with the British-Kazakh Society in UK, and we took great care to maintain and cultivate business relationships with corporate clients from UK, North America and Europe with interests in Kazakhstan, as well as with patrons from Kazakhstan who had interests in the UK.
Alma Matters are now dealing within a wide range of business sectors on a variety of projects, but we are still essentially linked with the markets between Kazakhstan and the UK/western world.
Our aim is still to deliver the best possible service with the personal touch of a small business but with the efficiency required for big businesses to succeed too.
We endeavour to make dealing with and travelling to Kazakhstan as trouble-free and as good value as possible, with the same for our patrons from Kazakhstan/Central Asia/ CIS who have interests in western Europe and North America.
